E Learning Course Development (2018 – ongoing). Adapted off-the-shelf classroom material to an asynchronous online environment by designing content to support course objectives and learner involvement. The effort created online learning experiences that ensured course objectives were achieved and necessary skills attained via Canvas™ Learning Management System. Courses developed: CJ-3100: Research Methods; CJ-3910: Terrorism and Homeland Security; and CJ-4100: Urban Communities and Crime.
Urban Peace Lab© Inaugural Escalating Peace Lecture Series (2018). Co-organized and hosted a lecture series designed to engage students, faculty, and the greater Chicagoland community by having 12 dynamic speakers come and share how they contribute to the escalation of peace. The discussions for each lecture series were framed in the epistemology of peaceology. There were 3 lecture events held campus-wide during spring 2018.
